Keith and Elaine wish to offer you a ready warm welcome to Shakeshafts “B & B”. We are set in 3 acres of the beautiful Towy valley, situated in the county of Carmarthenshire, the “Garden of Wales”.

Shakeshafts B&B has a “Four Star” quality rating throughout our business, graded by “Visit Wales”. As an extra too our quality bedrooms, we also offer when available, a self-catering flat suitable for two persons for a separate booking.

 

Our location.

We are situated only 4 miles from The Botanical Garden of Wales, and 3 miles from Carmarthen town making Shakeshafts an ideal holiday touring base. The Dylan Thomas boathouse and Pembrey’s racing circuit, Merlin's Hill, as well as the Gwilli steam railway, are all within a reasonable reach, as well as the counties of Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire. To the south is the scenery of The Gower Peninsula.

 

We have three acres of grounds composing of landscaped gardens and a meadow. Within the garden there are benches and a picnic table for guest use. By climbing to the top of the meadow, you will find a “look out”, complete with seats and binoculars for watching wild life within the scenic views of the Towy valley.

 

We have unlimited off road parking and in addition cycle safe storage.
